The Cambridge Ordinary Level syllabus embarks in grade nine and Pupils fulfill their Cambridge Ordinary Level Examinations in grade ten, after the completion of the syllabus.
The Cambridge Advanced Level curriculum begins in grade eleven and students sit for their Cambridge Advanced Level Examination after the conclusion of the course in grade twelve.
The Cambridge Ordinary Level syllabus embarks in grade nine and Pupils fulfill their Cambridge Ordinary Level Examinations in grade ten, after the completion of the syllabus. The classes are extremely small in number in order to give students the maximum benefit possible, in facilitating a one-to-one tutorial experience with the teachers.
Years 9 and 10 students study under the main streams of Science and Commerce with core, compulsory subjects of English, Mathematics and Computer Science. Subjects for the Ordinary Level are chosen from an extensive range of elective subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Principles of Accounts, Business Studies and Environmental Studies, in ordinance with the selected stream of study. The school encourages students to select at least 7 subjects for study in the Ordinary Level.
Advanced Level
The Cambridge Advanced Level curriculum begins in grade eleven and students sit for their Cambridge Advanced Level Examination after the conclusion of the course in grade twelve. Teachers are profoundly emboldened to teach students through the enduring global principles of education.
Advanced level students have the opportunity to select a maximum of 4 subjects from our assortment of discretionary subjects in Science, Commerce, Mathematics and Computer Science.
Ordinary Level
The National Curriculum Senior Section comprises grades six to thirteen. Students conclude their National Ordinary Level syllabus in grade eleven. We offer the children a student oriented, skill based and activity based education through our curriculums. In order to enrich their academic standards, the students are given individual assignments, peer work, presentations and written exercises.
The unit end evaluations, monthly tests, worksheets and term tests make students and their parents aware of the progress that each student makes, on a continuous basis.
Advanced Level
After the completion of their ordinary level examinations, the Local Advanced Level program is accomplished in grade thirteen.
In both levels, Language is a compulsory subject in the academic syllabus. We conduct three languages in our school, English, Sinhala and Tamil in order to expand language skills and develop the mother tongues of our students, to the best of our ability. To further develop the students skills and knowledge, individual assignments, presentations and written exercises are given.
